How did the Manitowoc County Historical Society’s Pinecrest Historical Village grow and come to be the living history museum it is today? Hear behind-the-scenes stories from former MCHS Executive Director Robert Fay (1987 - 2001) as he shares the history and creation story of the award-winning historical village.

The land that would become Pinecrest Historical Village was donated by Hugo and Eleanor Vetting in November 1969, with the first building - the Sorenson House - moved in January 1970. Today the museum includes over 25 structures.

This program was originally scheduled as a Hungry for History series program and will be rescheduled for an in-person program for a later date.
