Join us at the Manitowoc County Historical Society Museum and Pinecrest Village for a delightful family-friendly overnight adventure! Bring your own camping tent and bag dinner then join us in our 19th century Meeme House for family-friendly experience, play historical games, and make your own historical crafts. Before camping out for the night, attend a guided tour in the 19th-century village, and sit beside a campfire to roast marshmallows and share stories. It’s the perfect opportunity to create lasting memories together!

Check-in will begin at 5 pm and go until 7 pm! Feel free to take your time setting up camp or enjoy a quick bite or beverage before your program begins.

Parking is free and plentiful!
Guests can bring their vehicle to their assigned camp area to unload and set up. All vehicles need to be in the main parking lot by 7 pm. Vehicles can re-enter the ‘Pinecrest Village’ grounds after 7 am.

Tents will be set up in designated areas to create a safe and organized camping experience. Participants must bring their own tent and necessary camping gear. No open flames or cooking equipment will be allowed.
Space is limited. This is a tent only camping event.

Check-in will be at the McAllister House Welcome Center from 5 pm until 7 pm. Upon check in, groups will receive information on the assigned camp site. Vehicles may drive into Pinecrest Village to set up but then must return to the parking lot.

Please have your ticket(s) either printed out OR pulled up on your phone screen and ready for scanning for quick and easy check-in.
Pro-tip: take a screenshot of each of your tickets to have ready and pulled up on your phone screen! Please note: Wifi can sometimes be spotty at the Museum.

Yes! This event is rain or shine. The Museum will only cancel in case of a severe weather emergency.

Please dress accordingly for the predicted weather conditions.
We recommend wearing a good pair of walking shoes – there is a lot to see and do, and surfaces in the Historic Village (brick paths, cobblestone, grass), can be uneven.

Participants should gather outside the Meeme House at 7 pm. An overview of the evening will take place, followed by interactive living history stations until 9 pm. Before camping out for the night, attend a guided tour in the 19th-century village, and sit beside a campfire to roast marshmallows and share stories. Lights out and quiet time is from 10 pm to 7 am.
From 7 am to 9 am, there will be self-guided activities. All camp sites must be cleaned up and all attendees must leave by 10 am.

Yes! Please bring your dinner and enjoy it in the designated eating area. You are welcome to bring your own snacks to enjoy throughout the overnight as well.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re not able to attend! Tickets may be refunded only up to 7 days prior to the event date and are strictly non-transferable by date, entry time, or program.
Ticket Information
Advanced registration is required. Registrations must be made at least 1 week prior to the program.
Each person attending the overnight must be registered, regardless of age.
