Civil War Days: Reenactor Information

Civil War Days will take place June 1 and 2, 2019 at the Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road, Manitowoc WI 54220.

The program will be open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm, with a battle reenactment at 1 pm, both Saturday and Sunday.

 

How to register

Reenactor registration may take place online by clicking the link found below. Registration may also be completed on site.

For those who pre-register using the online registration: This online ticket will be used as your reenactor registration for Civil War Days. Any participant not submitting this ticket upon check in will need to fill out a paper copy. By registering as a volunteer for Civil War Days, you agree to the included waiver and release policies.

A Civil War Days volunteer will go around to each camp throughout the weekend to verify your registration and get your signature.

Camp set-up and Arrival

Reenactors may begin to arrive to set up camp on Friday, May 31 after 4:45 pm. A Civil War Days volunteer will go around to each camp throughout the weekend to verify your registration and get your signature.

Join us in celebrating Civil War Days 2019! As a thank you for sharing your time and talents with us, please consider joining us for the following:

  • Friday, May 31 social in the Saloon from 8 pm to 10 pm.

  • Saturday, June 1 Reenactor Supper in the Two Creeks Town Hall at 5 pm. The supper will include pulled pork and New Orleans sausages with all the fixings. Please bring your own plate, utensils, and cup. 

  • Saturday, June 1 Entertainment in the Nennig Dance Pavilion beginning at 6:30 pm to TBA. Join us for a Beard and Ankle contest on Saturday night! Register to take part in these activities beginning at 6:30 pm at the Nennig Dance Pavilion.
