Get hooked on Old Fashioned Fish-Frydays
Come hungry and thirsty as we enjoy classic Wisconsin dishes and drinks! Savor a fish fry, tasty cocktails and help support our mission to preserve local history. Dinner provided by Smiling Moose, Osman.
Dinner in the historic Meeme House includes:
Deep fried Perch or Burger plate with Cold American potato salad, Hot German potato salad, or French Fries, Coleslaw, and Rye bread.
Hot dog with a Mac and Cheese cup
Riverside Half Naked Cheese Curds
Each meal comes with desserts and a complimentary old-fashioned, beer, or other beverage.
Funds raised at the Old Fashioned Fish-Frydays support the operations of the Manitowoc County Historical Society, a 501c3 private, non-profit. You can strengthen the education programs, research services, and living history at MCHS!
Visit “3”, Get a “T” Promotion
Visit three MCHS fish fry dinners and win a free T-Shirt! MCHS is offering a "Visit 3, Get a T" promotion during the 2026 season. Visitors who check in at all three seasonal fish frys receive a limited-edition, artist-designed t-shirt (while supplies last).

Doors open at the McAllister House Welcome Center at 4:30 pm.
Tram service is available from the Welcome Center to the Meeme House.
You will place your food order when registering to attend. Pre-registration ends 48 hours before the event.
Note: There will be limited availability for walk-in orders!
Perch Plate: $25
(Perch, Choice of Potato*, Coleslaw, Rye Bread with drink and dessert)
Burger Plate: $15
(Hamburger with/without cheese, Choice of Potato*, Coleslaw, Rye Bread with drink and dessert)
Hot Dog Meal: $10
(Hot Dog and Mac and Cheese cup with drink and dessert)
Side order of Cheese Curds: $8
*Potato choices include: Cold American Potato Salad, Hot German Potato Salad, French Fries

No, there is not a general admission charge. The only payment needed is for the food menu items chosen.

When you arrive for the fish fry, you will check in at our Welcome Center using the name the food plates were registered under. The registrant will receive a food order slip to bring to the food truck when the party would like to eat. The Meeme House is open for beverages and eating spaces as well.

The Meeme House (circa 1854, town of Meeme) will be the only historic structure open during the Fish Frydays Fundraiser.
