On Mother’s Day weekend interpreters in the Historic Village will showcase a number of tasks and activities reflective of what life was like for 19th-century mothers. Explore historic homes, kitchens, and heirloom gardens, and don’t forget that all Moms receive free admission to the Historic Village on Mother’s Day!
Mother's Day Tea
Our Mother’s Day Tea is a wonderful way to celebrate Mom’s special day! With delectable tea time favorites, you’ll be treated to an afternoon tea and program, then head out into the Historic Village to explore all of the daily happenings!
The program will treat guests to a fashion show through history, based off the dress and background of historic American Girls. Young participants are welcome to bring their own dolls.
Please note: tickets for Mother’s Day Tea include general admission for the day. Advanced registration is required for the Mother’s Day Tea.
