Summer Family Camp

Spend the last days of summer with your family and a Museum Educator for a guided, behind-the-scenes adventure!
Join us for a fun-filled day of History Family Camp, whether your little one isn’t quite ready to attend camp by themselves or you are just looking for a chance for the whole family to join in the camp fun. This one-day camp will focus on family-friendly 19th century-based activities.
The day will include a flexible schedule; with some timed activities and some opportunities for families to freely explore our Living History Village. While this camp day is open to all ages, the majority of activities will be geared toward kiddos aged 4 to 9-years-old.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, who is also registered for the program. Please be sure to register all participants.

Advanced registration is required for each participant.
Camp Scholarships may be available for those needing financial assistance. You may request a camp scholarship in writing.
MCHS Members receive a 15% discount on the camp registration fees. Are you a member? Don't forget to create an online account prior to camp registration to receive the discount!
A confirmation email of enrollment and receipt of payment will be sent via email immediately after you complete your online registration.
If the camp you desire is full, you can put your child on the wait list. Should space become available in camp, you will be contacted.
When canceling a camp 30 days or more in advance, a refund of 50% will be issued. No refund will be given for camps canceled with less than 30 days notice.
Snacks are not provided, though there may be opportunities to taste and create food from the historic kitchens and gardens. Campers will be allowed to bring a small snack of their choosing, but please note that we do not have the capacity to refrigerate snack items. Please mark any food or other allergies on the registration form so that all campers can be provided the best experience.
