This 90 minute walking tour of the ‘old’ Pioneer Rest and Calvary Cemeteries in Two Rivers will highlight stories of notable citizens in our community.
Meet at the entrance of Pioneer Rest and Calvary Cemeteries, at 25th St. & Forest Avenue in Two Rivers.
Tours take place at 3 pm and 5 pm and are 90 minutes each.
About Pioneer Rest Cemetery:
History is all around as you walk through the cemeteries. Two items of interest are the monument in memory of the unknown sailors from the SS Vernon, which sank off the shore of Two Rivers in 1887, and the Voshardt Mausoleum.
