From helping to unload merchandise at the General Store to being a guest in a family’s bustling kitchen, you will learn how to shop, use and measure ingredients, and create recipes.
Guests should sign up for a time slot to ensure hands-on kitchen opportunities at a given time. Time slots will allow for 15 participants at one time, rotating through 3 — 20 minute kitchen demonstrations with the Thompson, Kunze, and Sorenson family. Guests will learn about the family’s cooking traditions and help create a recipe. Your group may also visit the General Store, Meat Market, and the Two Creeks Town Hall either before or after your scheduled kitchen experiences.
Please note that the historic structures of Pinecrest Village will have the wood stoves in operation to provide heat and for the cooking demonstrations. The wood stoves are hot.
