Just because there’s a hole in those favorite jeans does not mean they are done for! It can be fixed!
In this class, we explore two mending techniques for woven (non-stretchy) fabrics, like jeans. In a modern era of fast fashion, you’ll want to join in this thrifty person’s guide to repairing your clothes and other popular items. Bring an item to mend and give it new life.
All repair materials are included in the cost of the workshop.
Advanced Registration
Ages 10 and up
Fee: $20 per person, MCHS members get 15% off.
Check in at the McAllister House Welcome Center 15 minutes before the program begins. Your workshop fee also includes general admission for the day! Registration is required at least 10 days prior to the workshop.
