Create-Connect Workshop Series
Rosemaling Workshop
Thursday, July 2 from 11 am until 3 pm
Participants will learn the history, techniques and cultural significance of rosemaling – a Norwegian decorative folk painting known for its scrollwork and floral designs – while completing their own project. The course includes professional instruction, hands-on practice and all necessary supplies.
By the end of the workshop, participants will paint their very own project and leave class with the knowledge and a detailed supply list to continue this Scandinavian craft on their own!
Advanced Registration
Ages 12 and up
Fee: $40 per person, MCHS members get 15% off.
Check in at the McAllister House Welcome Center 15 minutes before the program begins. Your workshop fee also includes general admission for the day! Registration is required at least 10 days prior to the workshop.
